CHINA ANTI-PIRACY CONCERT
South Korean singer Kangta performs at an anti-piracy cocert in Beijing Saturday Feb. 26, 2005. The concert, featuring more than 100 performers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea, was one of a series of activities held by China's government Saturday to showcase its anti-piracy efforts.
U.S. officials say piracy costs companies worldwide as much as US$50 billion (euro40 billion) a year in lost sales and have threatened China with possible sanction.
